It Was A Bad Day… Not For the Dodgers, For Me!

Last evening I made the mistake of opening a file which ultimately “hijacked” my computer. I have my own in-house IT Tech and after numerous futile attempts to fix it, we are currently wiping out the hard drive and reloading the programs. I didn’t lose anything (but time) as it was all backed up on our server, but it was really irritating. Oh well, stuff happens, even with all the Norton Anti-Virus, Windows Defender and the rest of the programs we run. This was not really a virus, but malware that just took control of the computer.

So, I wasn’t able to post what I had started about Kershaw and I won’t get my Laptop back until Saturday or Sunday, but it will probably happen Monday. Stay tuned - I have lots of photos!

DODGER UPDATE:

  • Diamond Leung reported that Andy LaRoche left the game after fouling a ball off his foot last night:

Andy LaRoche had to leave last night’s Class AAA Las Vegas game after fouling a ball off a toe already suffering the effects of turf toe. He was lifted for a pinch runner after eventually singling in the at-bat. Ironically, it was catcher Danny Ardoin, whose spring training throw to third base caused LaRoche to tear a thumb ligament, who replaced LaRoche at third in the ninth in a move that mirrored Russell Martin taking over for an injured Nomar Garciaparra.

  • I recently said that I expected Andrew Lambo to be a very good player, if not a Superstar. He’s someone else who shares that expectation: CLICK HERE
  • Joe Sheehan of Baseball Prospectus writes an excellent article about Logan White, Dan Evans, Paul DePodesta and Ned Colletti. After reading it, I was asking myself “Why isn’t Logan White GM?” He may be soon…
  • The longer the Dodgers take in naming who will take Loaiza’s place, the more I think it will be Clayton Kershaw!

I am lost without my computer - I hope to get it back soon…
