Hey, didn’t you used to be BRAD Penny? When was the last time a pitcher gave up 10 runs in a game but didn’t allow a HR? You are going to get blowed out now and again, but our starters are not pitching deep enough into the game. That’s been a problem for us for a few years - I’ll call them the “Honeycutt Years.”
- When a pitcher comes in any the team is behind 10-0, put no stock into how he looks. His head probably isn’t in the game.
- Most of the Dodgers didn’t have their heads in the game either. My guess is that several had a late night on the town after the 2nd game.
- The Dodgers are 18-11 when Jones starts and 1-4 when he doesn’t!
