TOMMY VERSES LENNY
Before the game on Friday verses the Marlins, Tommy Lasorda came up behind Lenny Harris and got him in an arm lock - it was funny to see an 80-year-old man horsing around with a 40-year-old young buck like Lenny!
DATELINE - MARCH 25, 2006 - JUPITER, FL
After 4 straight Dodger losses, AnewBlueDay has turned to the darkside.

Tommy sat 6 rows in front of me and must have signed 500 autographs.
Ron Perrinowski sat 4 rows in front of me:
John Boles sat one row in front of me:
Kim Ng sat by Tommy (she looks like she is a member of the good-old-boys club):
Matt Kemp hit an opposite field shot that was barely foul.
The rows beside and in front of me were packed with scouts (including Boles & Perrinowski) - Not a bad seat for a SRO ticket. Anew sat in the handicapped area and I sat in a box seat - we just made friends with the ushers and everything was cool.
Since there were about a dozen radar guns around us it was easy to see how fast they were throwing:
Penny - 93
Kuo - 92
Osoria - 91
Broxton - 96
Wunsch - 88
The Dodgers didn’t play their regulars today. Here’s what I saw:
1B - Saenz is ready - he can hit in his sleep.
2B - Robles - bat & body looks slow - I don’t think he will make the team
SS - Martinez - looked good with the glove and at bat - he’s a lock!
3B - Aybar was OK, but I can’t see him making the team
LF - Guzman made some really nice, even spectacular catches and throws. He hit the ball hard. He is going to be hard to ignore!
CF - Repko - looked really bad on defense and at bat - Grady may rethink his making the team.
RF - Ledee - He’ll be our LH pinch hitter to go with Saenz as our RH pinch hitter
C- Martin didn’t throw well, catch well or hit well - other than that he looked great!
Kemp had a nice pinch hit at-bat.
Ross K’ed in a PH situation.
Penny acted like an idiot and pitched like one today. Games like this really don’t mean much to the starters.
Kuo looked very good as did Osoria. Kuo can face lefties & righties.
