I was able to bail Anew out of jail and we arrived at Dodgertown at about 10:00 AM.

Joel Guzman looked awesome in batting practice but looked totally helpless in his one at bat.
Dodgers lost 2-1.
Highlights:
Tomko - Pitched 6 strong innings. Aybar’s error allowed his only (unearned) run.
Furcal - 2 good hit and one SB
Gagne & Kuo looked good, Brazoban looked bad.
Alomar looks fresh and gunned a runner out with a tremendous throw to 2B
Nomar? I’m lukewarm.
Mueller - looked like a pro.
Blake DeWitt had a nice opposite field hit
Lofton - Looks very good.
Aybar’s 2 errors allowed the only Mets runs.
We watched a minor league game for a while and talked with several other Dodger fans. Anew talked to Terry Collins for a while.
Tomorrow it may rain. We’re heading to practice in the early AM.
Billingsley and Miller are pitching a minor league game tomorrow.
Jeff Kent was tutoring Russ Martin for a long time today.
JD Drew was mashing and looked healthy.
Izturis is probably ready. His arm looks great. He’ll probably start the season on the DL, but he’s ready.
