About Mark Timmons
My name is Mark Timmons, and I have been a Dodger fan for over 40 years (that’s me and my son at Dodgertown). I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and let me tell you, it is not easy being a Dodger fan in Indy, but I go to Spring Training for a week or two every year. I also try and get to Chavez Ravine once a year and I go to Dodger Games in St. Louis, Cleveland, KC, Cincy, ChiTown, Milwaukee and anyplace else I can see the Dodgers. Yes, I am THE Dodger fan, but not a journalist (as many have pointed out). Journalism wasn’t even a minor for me - in fact, I’m a college drop-out! I am a “Joe-Six-Pack” type writer. This website is for died-in-the-wool Dodger fans who realize that while statistics are important, they are just another tool and know that humans, not numbers, play the game of baseball. To that end, we do not live and die by sabermetrics or statistical analysis.
