Stuff – Deal with it!

  • Paco is bouncing back to AAA.
  • Ryu is on the DL with shoulder inflammation.  YIKES!!!
  • Chone Figgins is playing 3B and batting 8th tonight.
  • Jose Dominguez is at the ready in the pen.
  • Red is gone.
  • Sweeping the Twins while committing dozens of errors shows how bad that team is.  Stay calm!
  • The Fish are better!
  • Zach Lee is scheduled to pitch at AAA tonight – if he is scratched, he will pitch Sunday.  Otherwise it might be Fife!

  1. Watford Dodger says:

What? I’ve seen no news today – just logged onto everyone’s favourite site and you give us all this! Ryu hurt is bad news. Figgins back is almost unbelievable news. Paco down again. WTF. Where are you getting all this stuff – can’t see it anywhere else?

  2. Watford Dodger says:

Found it – on MLB at bat – was looking up game time and saw it.
Makes you realise how quickly things change from day to day in baseball. We lose 2 pitchers and bring up Figgins? Why not keep Paco? The pen is wobbling & worn out surely we need another arm in the pen. Let’s hope Beckett keeps on his upward curve.

  3. BOB says:

Maholm to start for another month? Does this site even have a “tag” for him? Looks like Ned did good signing a sixth starter after all. Time for Lee to finally make the long awaited first appearance? Hopefully he will do at least as well as Patterson.

Getting used to no Dodger TV. Dodger radio actually makes for a better life!

  4. Badger says:

Figgins over Guerrero? Only because he can play multiple positions. Dominguez can pitch 2 innings a few times a week (he’s young he will heal, or be gone) and how they do this without Lee seems impossible to me. The Dodgers have a very intense schedule coming up. Don’t you want your best available young players for this run?

    • BOB says:

Just another Aderall moment. Can’t simultaneously focus on protecting his head, in the manner that could break his fingers, and tag the base with his top leg remaining straight and low. Why would you raise your leg and bend it toward the throw if you know the throw is low and toward your head? So sad. So very sad. Is every thing new to these guys. Have they practiced nothing? Have they visualized nothing?

  5. Badger says:

Just checked – in his last 28 at bats Crawford has struck out once. They’ll start falling in soon.

Dint know BOB, but whatever Maury is teaching them in those sliding pits ain’t working.

  6. BOB says:

So now they will probably call up Fife, who really is toast. I prefer that they do something outside the box like DL Wilson and call up Henry Sosa to start in place of Ryu!
