  1. Badger says:

    That’s it?

Why would Philly fire Manuel? That seems odd to me.

  2. Anonymous says:

A} Ruben Amaro is trying to save his own ass
B} Fearful of losing Sandberg to another team
C} Hoping they don’t let the Marlins overtake them
    D} All of the above

  3. Bobby says:

The Beard on the pre game show. He’ll wear #00

Boy if he’s healthy and back…… look out!

  4. Rob says:

Hanley making up for that error big time! The look on greinkes face when Hanley applied the tag on the force out was priceless.

  5. Quasimodo says:

We all must have gotten spoiled by all the exciting come-from-behind wins where this one was just another chalk up.

  6. Brooklyn Dodger says:

Why I ask was Kenley Jansen used in tonight’s game with a four run lead? If memory serves, he was last used in a game on Tuesday, and I think that was 3 in a row at that time. He was even up throwing in the pen on Wednesday. Don’t the Dodgers have enough confidence in the rest of the pen to not give up four runs in the ninth?

  7. Bobby says:

I agree with you Quas, and I agree 100% with you Brooklyn.

Withrow could have pitched the 9th. Im even confident in League again to handle a 4 run lead with the lower half of the lineup coming up.

Oh well, either way, we’re 8.5 up now

  8. Idaho al says:

I agree Brooklyn. I thought we would see Marmol or League.

  9. TROBOB says:

Jansen had two days off. Withrow threw 37 pitches on Wednesday. If we would score more runs, we wouldn’t have seen Jansen. I don’t feel comfortable with League or Marmol and a four run lead. Very possible that Jansen would have had to come in anyway. Jansen’s velocity was back up last night and he appeared much sharper after two days off.
