“The general manager, two of his special assistants, three club vice presidents and other assorted club officials turned out to watch a seven-year Dodgers Minor Leaguer pitch his first career inning of a game against another team.”

    Go Baez!

  2. Mark_Timmons says:

WE told them that 3 years ago. Geeezzzz!

  3. Brooklyn Dodger says:

Do we know if the Dodgers were slow in converting Baez, or whether it was Baez who was slow to accept that he should make the conversion? Whatever the case, the early returns indicate that Baez might be able to make the transition pretty quickly. But it’s early, and I probably shouldn’t jump to any conclusions.
