I almost feel like this was too easy. Every blogger in the Dodger universe was whining about the acquisition of Chris Capuano, but I felt like it was a great deal from the onset. In fact, I predicted that Capuano would win 20 games this year. Not next year, not again, but here in 2012.
“But his stats show that he hasn’t pitched well since 2006…” Blah, blah, blah!
That is precisely the reason why. He’s a good pitcher, he’s an athlete, he’s smart and… he’s finally healthy, and far enough removed from surgery that’s he’s going to have a monster season.
