Kershaw, Manny, Weaver, Sherrill, Troncoso, and Broxton -- is that enough to turn the corner?

They did what they are on the roster and paid for. To bring it, hit it, hold it, and save it.

Now it Billingsley can step up to the rubber and pitch like we would like him to, then the Dodgers might indeed be able to turn the corner and start on a new street.

So the guy rest today -- and get ready for tomorrow.

So Eric has called it a career. Thanks for you Game Over for a few games as a Dodger. You brought out the best in us.

I had the pleasure of taking my five year old son to his first game at Dodger Stadium yesterday. I could not have asked for a better game, my son will never forget it. Even though he is only 5 and has the attention span of a gnat and really did not pay attention to much of the game, he remembers that we beat the Giants yesterday on a Manny Ramirez pinch hit home run!

It was truly an amazing day in every way. Well, except for the 40 minute lines to get my son an ice cream in a plastic batting helmet while hearing that they ran out of ice cream twice while in line and then finding out once we got to the front that the ice cream was back up but that they had run out of beer!

I have never had an experience like that at Chavez Ravine. But I think that it had to do with where we sat. Usually I sit in the Top Deck behind homeplate and I think that section does not have the crowds that the rest of the place does because it is self contained. I thought that I would splurge and get "better" seats but now I know better. On busy days, try the top deck. It's the cheapest seats in the park, the same as bleachers, and much less rowdy than the bleachers, has a great view from behind the plate, no lines, and its very own Dodgers Store up there!

"P.S. 4 Troy, cut your sideburns and wear a fedora. I’ll see you in Cincy!"

I'm thinking about finding out how my ban could be lifted. But still, I'm on this 2 year probation nonsense. I have to get permission to leave the state among other ridiculous crap. A lot of times when I make Dodger trips it's a last minute deal with the hotel. I can't do that anymore. I have to allow time for my probation officer to sign off, I have to know where I'm staying, who's going, blah, blah, blah. Putnam County, WV, is a joke. If they want to "F" with you, they will. And there's nothing you can do about it. You're kids arent that old. Could you imagine when they were 7-9 and the cops coming to your home at 9:30 PM at night with an arrest and search warrant (actually searching the home) looking for their Daddy. Yeah, uh-huh, Putnam County cares about the kids. OK!!

Maybe I'll have something worked out by the Dodgers June visit to Cincinnati.

Yeah, I'm kind of "eccentric", but I'm not a criminal.
