ALBUQUERQUE ISOTOPES - AAA

The Isotopes won 5-2 to finish the month of July 19-10.  Doug Mientkiewicz (.333) doubled in 4 at bats.  Tony Abreu (.339) was 1-3.  Hu (.272) was 2-4 and Carlos Alvarado won his 9th game with 2 scoreless innings of help from Wade and Leach.  BOXSCORE

CHATTANOOGA LOOKOUTS - AA

The Lookouts won 9-8 after Bastardo and Guerra gave up 8 runs in the first 6 innings.  Garate, Sartor and Rodriguez pitched the last 6 innings (the game went 12) nd gave up ZILCH.  Russ Mitchel who appears to be the new 3B for the lookouts went 2-5 with a HR, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI’s.   Andrew Lambo (.266) went 1-6 with 2 runs scored.  BOXSCORE

INLAND EMPIRE 66′ers – HIGH A

The 66′ers won 14-0 behind Mario Alvarez who pitched 9 innings, allowed 5 hits and no runs while striking out 12.  Scott Van Slyke 9.299) went 3-5 with 2 doubles (34), a HR (17th) and 4 RBI’s (77).  It’s hard to be too excited about him as he’s 23 and is repeating the same league, but who knows?  BOXSCORE

GREAT LAKES LOONS – LOW A

The Loons won 4-3 Justin Miller who pitched 6 innings and allowed 2 ER.  Dee Gordon (.312) was 2-4 and stole his 59th base.  Tony Delmonico was 2-4 and Matt Wallach was 3-3.  BOXSCORE
