Billings beats the Raptors 8-6.
VASQUEZ (4.91), started and couldn’t get the ball over the plate, walking 6 and giving up 3 hits in 4.2 innings. ROBERTS (11.81) was decent in relief giving up just 1 earned run in 2 innings on 2 hits, 0 walks and 1 K. GAUDI (H, 1, 7.50), was ineffective for the second outing in a row getting only 1 out while surrendering 2 earned runs on 2 hits. RONDON (BS, 1, L, 0-2, 2.00), got the loss giving up 2 runs, 1 earned on 4 hits, 1 walk, 1 K, over 2 innings.
CAVAZOS-GALVEZ (.284), hit his 6th home run in the 4th. RUGGIANO (.348) smacked a triple. SANDS (.410), hit 2 doubles, RUGGIANO and McGEE (.260), each added a 2-bagger of their own.
MCGEE and SANDS had 3 hit games. RUGGIANO went 2-5.

The pitching stank to high heaven. Only PFEIFFER (4.12), pitched effectively and he only went 1 inning–allowing 0 runs, 0 hits, 0 walks while striking out 2 in that inning of work.
MATTINGLY (.260), hit his 13th double. He also went 2-4.
THE GREAT LAKES LOONS A
The Loonies blanked Kane County 8-0..
MILLER (W, 5-5, 4.26), started and got the win pitching 6 innings and giving up 0 runs on 3 hits, 2 walks and 4 Ks. GARCIA (2.66), pitched 2 innings of 1 hit relief, allowing 0 runs, walking 0 and striking out 3. ST. CLAIR wrapped it up pitching the last inning and allowing just one hit, 0 runs, 0 walks and striking out 2.
BUSS (.264), hit his 5th triple of the year. BUSS also doubled. HATCH (.274) whacked his 23rd 2-bagger and SILVERIO (.268) added his 17th two-base-hit of the season.
BUSS went 3-4 with 3 RBIs. DELMONICO (.266), HATCH, and WALLACH (.243), all had 2 hit games for our Loons.
