Great Lakes Loons – Low A

The Loons lost 6-4 without much fanfare, but it is worth noting that since May 1, Ethan Martin’s ERA is near 7.00.  Last night he pitched 4 innings, giving up 5 hits and 6 runs and raising his over ERA to 4.43.  Not what he expected.  Not what we expected!

Inland Empire 66′ers

The 66′ers won 6-2 whilke getting 12 hits.  Mattingly, Van Slyke and Lara all had 2 hits and Robinson and Herrera had 3 hits each.  Alberto Bastardo pitched 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run to gain his 5th win.

Chattanooga Lookouts

The Lookouts lost 7-3 and there’s not much noteworthy here except that Victor Garate got hit pretty hard and Paul Koss didn’t.  What this Koss guy!

Albuquerque Isotopes

The ‘Topes lost 5-4 as James McDonald pitched 5 innings and allowed 3 hits and 3 runs while walking 3 and striking out 5.  His AAA ERA is 5.51.  PUT HIM IN THE PEN!    Hyang-Nam Choi pitched 2 innings striking out 4 and now has 21 K’s in 12 innings!  Hector Luna hit his 12th HR and Jovanny Rosario also had 2 hits.
