Any chance that you will go on the road and cover Manny's stint at Inland Empire

It's hotter than hell down there this time of year! I moved to the Pacific Northwest to get away from the heat having lived most of my life in either the desert of Southern California or the Sacramento Valley.

But I'd love to go cover Manny. Just don't have the scratch to do it what with the present economy and the fact Ruth spent most of her savings account on a remodel of the house. I shouldn't complain. It's a nice house to be an economic prisoner in if a prisoner one must be. Life could be a lot worse.

Weather has been nice in So Cal but will heat up next week to at least 80 at game time. Hopefully Manny has not caught the WC from RW or he may not play anyway.

Here is a good pun for your troubles – I'm not broke I'm just badly bent

    I'm so broke I can't pay attention!
