THE ALBUQUERQUE ISOTOPES AAA
The Isotopes lost 6-3.
The Isotopes lost Monday to Memphis despite 6.1 innings of quality start itching from old timer S. ESTES (3.07), (who gave up one run, earned on 5 hits, 4 walks and 1 strikeout. The rest of the pitching stunk.
REPKO (.257), cracked 2 home runs. Joining REPKO with a 2 hit game were HU (.249), and ROSARIO (.270).
THE CHATTANOOGA LOOKOUTS AA
The Lookouts beat Montgomery 5-3.
BATISTA (W, 2-0, 2.40) pitched a quality start going 6 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits 0 walks and 4 strikeouts. RODRIGUEZ (H,1, 3.19), KOSS (H, 1, 1.88), and SARTOR (S,4, 2.43) all each pitched an inning of shutout ball in relief.
MITCHELL (.174), hit a triple. PEREZ (.308), MITCHELL and LAMBO (.264) all hit doubles. MITCHELL went 3-4. LAMBO went 2-4.
THE INLAND EMPIRE 66ERS A ADVANCED
The 66ers lose to Lancaster 9-7.
SMITH (3.86) pitched 2 innings of shut out ball and BRANON (10.86) moped up the last inning without surrendering a run. The rest of the pitching was not worthy of being mentioned.
CASERES (.282), whacked 2 home runs and FULLER (.247), added a round tripper of his own. MATTINGLY(.297), hit his first triple.
Three 66ers had 3 hit nights: MATTINGLY, BAEZ (.279), and CASERES.
