It Feels Like Destiny Slammed The Cubs!

We needed a hero last night and boy did we get one!  With the score 2-0 in favor of the Cubs, the Dodgers patiently took a trio of walks and only when the pitcher decided he had to throw it over the plate, did James Loney step up and drive the ball out of the park.  GRAND SALAMI!  What a statement!  Manny’s and Russell’s homeruns  and Blake Dewitt’s triple were icing on the “statement cake.”  I am way past analyzing what has happened and what will happen.  Although I never stopped rooting for the Dodgers, I have them dead and buried September 1st.  Their resurrection and the resurrection of Kent, Furcal and Saito is nothing short of a miracle!  Destiny or maybe The Big Dodger in the Sky dropped Manny Ramirez into our laps.  After beating the Cubs in Wrigley, this sure feels a lot like Destiny!  Now, if Chad can just pitch like he should, we are in the drivers’ seat - Enjoy the Ride and the possible meeting with Destiny!
