12-05-07 - Don’t Think We Aren’t Improving
It is rather comical at times - the way people castigate McCourt and Colletti in reaction to rumors which usually have little basis in fact. The fact is, Ned Colletti has been unwilling to trade our top prospects until the present. Not for Cabrera, not for Santana. The closest thing to a top prospect which he has traded is Joel Guzman and most scouts think Guzman will not ever be a player. The Rays may not even keep him on the 40-man roster.
