12-03-07 - The Winter Meetings at Opryland Hotel & Resort
Get ready, the Winter Meetings start today. There isn’t a much better venue than the Opryland Hotel - it’s a city within a city. All you have to do is catch a cab from the airport and you have your choice of anything inside this mammoth place. I might as well make some predictions as to what could happen at the meetings as it pertains to the Dodgers:
- Juan Pierre will be traded
- Rudy Seanez will be re-signed as will Mike Lieberthal
- We won’t trade for Santana
- We won’t trade for Cabrera (unless a package includingLaRoche, Orenduff, Meloan, May and McDonald will get it done).
- We will sign Kuroda to a $32 mil/3 year deal
Finally, if we don’t get Cabrera, I predict that Adrian Beltre will be traded back to the Dodgers in a deal involving Andy Read the rest of this entry »
